Introduction to Open Water
An introduction to swimming outdoors in a safe and fun environment. Including how to fit a wetsuit correctly, dealing with the cold water and specific skills and techniques for open water swimming.
Suitable for swimmers doing breast stroke or front crawl, who can swim a minimum of 800m of any stroke and are confident in deep water.
Courses and one off sessions available in groups or one-to-one.
Sessions take place at organised open water swim venues that are fully supported with safety cover and lifeguards
Mastering open water
A more advanced session for swimmers taking part in open water swimming events or triathlon who want to get faster or improve their skills. Includes swimming in a group, drafting, mass starts, turning at buoys, and stroke correction.
- Suitable for people who can already swim front crawl in open water.
- Available in a group or one-to-one.
